A huge shout out and thanks to the Charger Alumni, Parents, Coaches and Players who were able to join us for the Christmas Bureau's Hamper Delivery Day on December 21!
We had 50+ volunteers help the club out with their ongoing commitment to the Christmas Bureau to help on their hamper delivery day. With 1,800 hampers being sent out to families in need, it was going to be a busy day. We got rolling at 7:30 am with getting turkeys, hams and tubs of margarine being moved, to the sorting and loading of hampers into volunteer vehicles starting at 8:30 am until 1:30 pm. It was steady all day and mother nature cooperated with beautiful weather as well!
We were also joined by some players from the Edmonton Elks and the Edmonton Police Service Recruit Class, whom also played a huge role in making the day a huge success!
The Chargers Football Club and its volunteers, past and present, have been supporting the Christmas Bureau with this great cause since 1993. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support of this very important event!
On behalf of the Executive, Coaches and Volunteers, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for 2025!
